Strattore vertical awning – visually appealing privacy protection and sun protection in a vertical orientation
The vertical awning is the perfect solution to protect against the sun’s harmful rays and unwanted glances on the terrace or balcony. It acts as a window protection and is attached outside. The sun’s rays reach are reflected by the awning before they even reach the window pane. As a result, the heat cannot enter your home through the window pane, and the temperature is naturally regulated like an air conditioning system.
Advantages of a vertical awning over conventional alternatives
Unlike with external venetian blinds, the elegant vertical awning has a continuous surface. This makes it much easier to clean. While a permanently installed roller shutter can create a thermal bridge because of inadequate insulation of the roller shutter box or the belt guide, this is not the case with vertical awnings.
The right cover for your home
The vertical awning also has the advantage of being opaque from the outside but still allowing natural sunlight to flow into your home. The sunlight can create interesting plays of light in the interior, and the room will never be completely darkened. The outside area therefore also remains visible from the inside.

To ensure the vertical awning has a long service life, it should still be retracted or brought to safety during storms and bad weather.

- EXTENDABLE: With the crank attached, the sun protection cover can be easily extended and retracted. The balcony awning then extends to a maximum depth of 250 cm and provides full privacy and sun protection
- WIND AND WATERPROOF: Because awning is waterproof, has excellent wind protection, and is hard-wearing thanks to its material (polyester with PU coating) it can readily cope with the thermal challenges
- UV-RESISTANT: A cover made of 100% polyester with a PU coating not only provides proper protection against UV rays and summer rain, but, together with the tubular steel frame, is also very robust and intended for many years of use
- NOTE ON USAGE: To ensure the clamping awning has a long service life, it should still be retracted or brought to safety during storms and bad weather
